Updates from the garden

Gary & I got a tomato plant from Kurt the last time he came to visit.
We got a couple of good tomatoes from it & enjoyed some tasty BLT sandwiches. Thanks Kurt!
The $1.00 pack of sunflower seeds from Target took off! We had them in the pot out front that we used to hide the rebar, but they eventually out grew the area & we ended up moving them out back.
Gary's favorite...the Indian Feather.
One of our Day Lillies decided to get weird & had flowers blooming from the bottom.

Take that, you chicken!

Gary got a new cooking tool for Father's Day.
Here's a close up of his grilled chicken & veggies. Yummy!

Gary the Builder! Can we do it?

Yes we can!
Gary has been working on some retirement projects for some folks from work.
He loves the shelter he picked up at Home Depot (and everything else he's ever purchased there)! He can work outside, be protected from the weather, and have access to electricity (and the bar) all at the same time!
Here's a shadow box that he did.
This is the base for a propeller from the plane he works on.
Don't worry...this is from a plane that crashed a while back. There isn't a plane flying around missing one of it's propellers.
The finished product is pretty tall and awesome! I'll have to look for a picture of it to post so you all can appreciate all of Gary's hard work.
