New Windows!!!

The biggest window in the house.

We are so happy to finally get the old single pane windows changed.

The house looks so much better now.

Good Bye, old windows. You will not be missed.

More yard work

Happy Tuesday! Yet another power tool for Anicia.

Preparing for the new flowers.

Anicia could take a bath in that thing. She has been doing most of the heavy work to save my back. She's so wonderful!

All the flowers are in. We planted Indian Feathers, Shasta Daisies, Daylilies and Meadow Sage.

The final product and the new windows!

Gary & Fred are at it again!

Another season, another couple of outfits for Fred. She's ALL business here!
Fortunately, Gary won't need his epi-pen for this lil' bee!

Yard work update...and Gary's first post!

Gary is teaching me how to work in the yard & I am teaching him how to update our blog. I started out slow & downloaded the pictures & then let him write his descriptions. Enjoy!
Building a flower bed for Anicia's new hobby...Gardening!!!

Finally got rid of the walkway to nowhere.

And they say that MSTs don't do manual labor.

Making lots of room for Anicia's flower bed.

More yard work and a nice border. We removed some ugly pavers we had going to the backyard & ended up using some of the grass we removed from the front yard to fill the holes.

50 gallons of "going green" and it saves on the water bill too! We collect the rain water from our gutters & use it to water our plants. The pavers underneath the rain barrel were from the holes in the previous picture.

Border is finally done. The sledge hammer to drive the rebar in was about as tall as Anicia!

One cubic yard of top soil delivered in Georges truck. I was really amazed he let us get his truck dirty. George ROCKS!!!

Georgey Bob

We had a bit of an issue with the last piece of rebar. It only went in 1 foot. Found a nice pot to cover it up.
This is George's race number that came with wild flower seeds in it. We planted it & have named it "Georgey Bob".
